Warranty Policy

All Bitnode Labs devices and accessories ("Products") purchased from bitnodelabs.com or from authorized resellers, come with a limited hardware warranty from Bitnode Labs. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any necessary repairs, replacement part or replacement product for the remainder of the original warranty period. You may have additional rights under applicable law, and this limited warranty does not affect such rights.

Warranty terms

This product warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product from an authorized Bitnode Labs reseller or Bitnode Labs, itself. In the event that the device or AC adapter malfunctions during its respective warranty period due to a defect of workmanship or materials, Bitnode Labs will repair or replace the device or AC adapter, free of charge, when you inform us of the defect. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the device that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, commercial use, fire or damage from other external causes.

The warranty period starts from the day you received the product (date of delivery) and expires at the end of the two-year warranty period. You should therefore always keep your sales receipts and delivery statements. If you require service but you lost your receipt or proof-of-purchase and any delivery statement, the warranty period shall be deemed to have started three months from the production date or derived from the product serial number.

Where a repair is not possible or not commercially viable, Bitnode Labs may replace the product with a new or refurbished product of equivalent functionality and quality, or refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the product. After a repair, software upgrade or replacement, the warranty period will continue from the original delivery date.

Warranty scope

The scope of Bitnode Labs’ warranty is limited to Bitnode Labs products only. The specifications, performance and functionality of Bitnode Labs products are primarily verified on a standalone basis. Although we verify that products operate properly when connected to standard options, you are responsible for verifying proper operation while connecting peripherals, additional equipment or accessories from other manufacturers than those recommended in the user manual. Connected devices and issues caused by connected devices are considered outside the scope of the warranty.

Disclaimer of warranty. Limitation of liability

The warranty does not cover any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, loss of use, revenue, income, business, profit, data, digital asset, or other economic loss, incurred by you or any third party, arising from the use of the product or arising from the malfunctioning or non-functioning of the product. In the event of material damage, any compensation that might be provided by Bitnode Labs is limited to the purchase price of the product.

The warranty excludes, or does not apply:
- If the receipt or proof-of-purchase has been altered in any way or is made illegible.
- If the model number, serial number or production date code on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible.
- If repairs or product modifications have been carried out by unauthorized service organizations or persons.

- If the product has been damaged by (including but not limited to) abnormal voltage, power outage, lightning, overheating, fire, water, natural disaster, flooding, earthquake, war, transportation, dusty environments, animals or other external causes.
- If the product has been damaged by shipment or relocation, after purchase and delivery of the product.
- If the product does not function properly because it was not originally designed, manufactured or approved for use in the country where you use the product, which might occur when you imported the product.
- If the product does not function properly due to problems with access to, or connection with the internet service provider (ISP), subscriber's line, local network and/or transmission network (such as faults, interruptions, interferences, low bandwidth or weak WiFi signal).

- If the product does not function properly or has been damaged by a malware, ransomware, virus, Trojan horse, or any other software designed to hack, limit or harm the functionality of a computer.
